The Geography Department at Nagarjuna Government College has a record of producing innovative research and teaching in both human and economic geography. The achievements of the Department are reflected and recognized by its important rating in the most recent Teaching Assessment Exercise and by having 55% of its research recognized as being leading subject in this college. Our courses cover topics such as Geomorphology, climatology, oceanography, human geography, economic geography, regional geography of India and Andhra Pradesh, remote sensing and Geographical Information System
