Electonic Class Room (MANA T.V.)
The Society for Andhra Pradesh Network (SAPNET) has been created to coordinate and manage MANA T.V. programmes. Our college already facilitated greater access for the utilization of MANA T.V. programmes by the students and teacher. Wide publicity is being given to the MANA T.V. National Cadet Corps
The National Service Scheme a community service programme sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, is having three boys and one girls units of 100 volunteers each in the college. It is sought to arouse the social consciousness/awareness of students and provide them with the opportunity to work with the people around the educational campuses creatively, and constructively, and to put the education they receive to concrete social use. Activities like adult education programmes, socio economic service, health awareness campaign, Blood donation, tree plantation, aids awareness, environmental protection and eradication of social evils in the society will be under taken by NSS volunteers. The certificate holder will be given preference in employment and higher studies.
Games & Sports
The college has vast grounds of sports and games fields and a mini stadium. Interested students are given coaching in various sports and games, enabling them to take part in inter –collegiate, inter district, inter university, inter state and other meets.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University RCC & Prof. G.R.R. Center for Distance Education O.U.
Nagarjuna Government College has study centers of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University and Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University. These two centers are catering the needs of around 2500 UG rural poor students. Thus the institutional infrastructure is kept under double usage, there by extending formal educational facilities to non-formal streams also.
